  Technical engineering and design manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop short term, medium term and long term strategy for technical, engineering and
    product development activities.
  • Design work plan to support strategies and formulate respective budgets and forecast.
  • Manage departmental activities in liaison with other departments to achieve corporate
    targets.
  • Plan for appropriate resource allocation and acquisition to support departmental activities.
  • Control and monitoring of departmental target and activities.
  • Formulate policies and design appropriate technical, engineering and product development
    systems, procedures, control, database and reporting mechanism to regulate departmental
    activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan the incoming of purchased goods and the completeness of production items accordingly.
  • Liaise with purchasing and production personnel to ensure successful achievement of plan.
  • Prepare proper supporting documents for all deals, negotiations, commitments, deliveries and other operation activities, forwarded to the proper parties for further action and ensure proper filing of such documents.

  • 15 years in Accounts Department, 5 years in manufacturing industry.
  Project Controller

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets and are signed off.
  • Managing risk during the project deployment as controller and provide an assistant to Account & Financial Department team as well as P&L reporting.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Engineering related. Background in Construction and Project Management. 
  • Possess sound knowledge and experience in project planning, contract administration, financial and contract management methodology. 
  • Hands-on, result oriented and ability to work under tight timelines and changing environment. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, coordinate, manage and communicate efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skill, fluent in English, conversant in MSO 365.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in project management. Preferable in Power and Telecom Utility Industries i.e. TNB, Telecom.
