From 24 to 26 June 2024, Shamawar participated in the Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (OSH-C) training programme held at Utechtium Sdn Bhd, Setia Alam. The programme was attended by Khairul Adzhar, Shahrul Izuan and Muhamad Haziq to strengthen their knowledge and competency in occupational safety and health.
The OSH-C programme is designed to develop trained personnel who can support employers in managing workplace safety and health, particularly within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The training provides participants with the knowledge required to assist in promoting safer and healthier working environments.
The programme was conducted in accordance with the competency requirements established by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (JKKP/DOSH). Participants who successfully complete the required three-day training are recognised as trained personnel and receive the relevant OSH-C competency certification.
Through this initiative, Shamawar strengthens its internal capabilities in occupational safety and health while supporting compliance with workplace safety requirements. Having trained personnel within the organisation also enables greater awareness and coordination of safety practices among employees.
The OSH-C training reflects Shamawar’s commitment to maintaining a safe, healthy and responsible workplace. By investing in employee competency and safety knowledge, the company continues to promote a stronger safety culture and support the well-being of its workforce.
