Screened Separable Connector Plug In

Inner Cone Systems for Switchgears and Transformers maintenance

Raychem Plug-in Terminations RPIT separable connectors are compliant with CENELEC HD 629.1.S2:2006-A1:2008 (up to 42 kV) and IEC 60840 (52 kV). The terminations incorporate a high-quality contact system, ensuring a reliable current transmission from the cable conductors to the busbars. The electrical interfaces between the silicone stress relief cone to the cable and bushing are kept permanently sealed using a pressure component. This element is housed in the protection cover, which is sealed with heat shrink tubing. The installation and plug-in of the inner cone terminations is simple, using a silicone component which is compatible with industry-wide standards. TE also offers a full line of other RPIT accessories such as bushings, insulating caps and up-to-date testing tools to meet the needs of our customers.

TE Connectivity’s (TE) Raychem Screened separable T-connectors RSTI-58 are designed to connect single and three-core polymeric cables to medium voltage gas insulated switchgear and other equipment using bushings type “C” (EN50180/EN50181) specified for 630/1250A up to 24 kV.Made of a highly modified silicone rubber and protected by a thin-walled, grounded outer conductive screen, TE’s Raychem RSTI-58 connectors are equally suited for indoor and outdoor installation. Supporting a wide application range, the design incorporates one body and stress cone adapters to cover any cross-sections from 25 mm2 to 300 mm2. The overall cut-back dimensions are designed to take up minimum space in the terminal box.
The LV outdoor feeder pillar DIN type from Shamawar Technica is designed especially for continuous operation on a 3 phase, 4 wire, 50Hz Directly Earthed Neutral system designed to withstand a prospective symmetrical fault current. Suitable for use in the tropical zone, with a maximum ambient temperature of 40 C and a mean annual temperature of 28 C with heavy rainfall and high humidity of up to 100%. Additional real-time load reading data logger is equipped to provide the facility for real-time load reading provision directly displayed by the digital meter on site and by online integration.
