Photo Electric Control Unit

Thermal Type and Electronic
Photo Electric Control Unit (PECU) is an electronic switch which is triggered at a specific light level. Based on thermal, electronic or microprocessor technology, photocells operate in a number of ways depending of the level of accuracy required.Dusk to dawn sensing – generally inaccurate light detection where the lamp switches ‘ON’ as night falls and switches ‘OFF’ shortly after sunrise.Light level detection – more accurate light detection where the photocell switches at pre-set light levels both at sunset and sunrise, typically 70/35, 55/28, 35/18 or 20/20 lux. Negative switching sets the lamp to ‘OFF’ at a lower level than ‘ON’, with positive switching acting in reverse.

Shackle Insulator

An insulator that is used in distribution networks that works with low voltage is known as a shackle insulator. This insulator is also known as a spool insulator. These insulators can be worked in two positions like horizontal otherwise vertical.
The helically preformed grip is used to hold/pull/tension the galvanized steel stay wire in the installation of the 33/22/11 kV overhead line systems such as pole and tower.
  • ANSI C119.4, full tension, Class A connector (95% of conductor breaking strength unless otherwise noted)
  • Color coded end funnel guides for easy identification
  • Factory inhibitor protected
