Shackle Insulator

An insulator that is used in distribution networks that works with low voltage is known as a shackle insulator. This insulator is also known as a spool insulator. These insulators can be worked in two positions like horizontal otherwise vertical. 
Applications of Shackle Type Insulators

The applications of this insulator include the following.

  • It is used in a distribution system by arranging in between tower & conductors to support & insulate.
  • These insulators are used in overhead lines with low & medium voltage.
  • This insulator is used with a bolt by placing on the pole otherwise telegraph to avoid outflow current from conductors
  • It can be used in both positions like horizontal & vertical position.

Stay Insulator

The stay insulator is another kind of insulators with low voltage. It used to balance and fasten pole terminal through integrating the guy wires and guy grips. They have the structure to protecting main wire from accidentally electrical conduction.

Photo Electric Control Unit (PECU) is an electronic switch which is triggered at a specific light level. Low voltage metal oxide surge arresters with a silicone housing NNO and MOSPO are designed for installation in low voltage power lines or junction boxes with voltages up to 1 kV.They serve as the initial level of protection against surges and other transients. The varistors of low voltage surge arresters NNO and MOSIPO are directly molded by silicone rubber, providing them with a high level of ingress protection rated at IP 67.
IPC is used for simultaneous penetration of insulation on LV ABC conductors and for connecting of conductors for street lighting. Connector is manufactured in such way that it enables connection of LV ABC and branch conductor regardless of whether it is an aluminum or copper conductor. The body of the connector is made of Heat and UV resistant plastic and the elastomer insert eliminates the appearance of electrolytic corrosion since it prevents the appearance of moisture at contact points.
