Product Description
The LV outdoor feeder pillar DIN type from Shamawar Technica is
designed especially for continuous operation on a 3 phase, 4 wire,
50Hz Directly Earthed Neutral system designed to withstand a
prospective symmetrical fault current. Suitable for use in the
tropical zone, with a maximum ambient temperature of 40 C and
a mean annual temperature of 28 C with heavy rainfall and high
humidity of up to 100%. Additional real-time load reading data
logger is equipped to provide the facility for real-time load reading
provision directly displayed by the digital meter on site and by
online integration.
Product Technical Specification
- Feeder Pillar Shell
For better protection against the environment, metal housing made of Electro Galvanised sheet steel of minimum 2.5 mm thickness is used with detachable base suitable for outdoor mounting and fitted with 3 sets of robust hinges on each side of the door arranged to open through not less than 160 ֯ for maximum access. A two-point locking arrangement employing Cam Lock system is provided. Come with additional two brackets for padlocking with metal cover for extra safety. Watershed roof is provided to prevent the accumulation of water. Ample ventilation is provided to permit natural circulation of air and screened to prevent the entry of vermin and foreign objects. The enclosure is fitted with lifting lugs.
- Busbars
- The busbar system incorporated with:
i. One set of 3 tinned copper phase busbar
ii. One tinned copper neutral busbar
iii. One tinned copper earth busbar
All busbars designed with equivalent cross-sectional area capable of carrying continuous current rating with high conductivity of copper grade. The mounting bolt is embedded onto the busbar for mounting of fuse switch disconnector.
- Fuse Unit and Fuse Base
Incorporated with set of vertical 3 phase 160A fuse base unit manufacture as per IEC 60947-3. The fuse base units are fully shrouded to avoid any accidental contact with IP2X degree of protection according to EN60947-2 and 3.
Other technical data as per below;
i. Mounted on busbars with 100mm center distance of busbar
ii. Capable of taking fuse link size 00 according to DIN 43620
iii. The current carrying part made of one piece (No rivets or screws connecting current carrying parts).
iv. Contact springs made of stainless steel.
v. Copper contact with Nickel or Tin plated.
vi. The fuse base able to be mounted and connected without the need of taking off the protection covers.
